REVIEW: M.A.C PREP + PRIME FIX+

#1. M.A.C Prep + PRIME FIX+ 100ml

My number one choice from M.A.C so far. I love everything about it from how it preps and hydrates my skin as the first step of my makeup routine, to how it smells. M.A.C came up with 4 different scents for this product including Original, Coconut, Rose and Lavender and I bought mine in the scent of Rose.

Scent: The scent is very mild and goes away once it's absorbed. If I had to rank the scents from the one that I love the most to the least, it would be Rose, Lavender, Original and Coconut. I know many people love the "Coconut" scent but I'm just not into it. I don't hate it for sure so if I had no choice, no problem, I'll use it, otherwise, I'd rather use the "Original" unscented one.

Pros

• Hydrates the skin immediately

• Absorbs fast into the skin since it's lightweight

• Feels very refreshing

• Preps the skin for better product application after

Cons

• Pricey, RM100 for 100ml? That's RM1 for every 1ml. Hmmm...that's expensive for a mililitre.

• 100ml is too little a volume for a prepping spray. They should come up with bigger volumes such as 200ml or 250ml, that makes more sense to me.

• Doesn't really set my makeup although the website claims that it finishes makeup, so I only use this to prep, not set my makeup.

Will I repurchase? >>> ABSOLUTELY.

Despite it being expensive and all, I really love the refreshing feeling it gives and how it hydrates my skin which really helps in prepping my skin not to mention how versatile this product is. Besides, since I only use it to prep my skin, this 100ml bottle can last me about 1 and a 1/2 months with daily use. Highly recommended.
