Yeah I know. Like how it was with fitness, this is another first for me. This REALLY is my first multivitamin ever. I took vitamin C when I was a kid but that's it. My family has never been the kind to take supplements seriously or at least serious enough to stick to it. We had always rather stick to whole foods and gain our supplements directly from there.
So, why the sudden interest?
Well, the simple answer would be to increase energy since I started working out and of course, to increase the intake of important nutrients for my body. Before I started working out a year ago, 6 days a week at least 60 mins a day, I never felt like I needed extra "help" for increasing energy. But ever since I started working out a year ago, I realized that fatigue gets to me pretty quickly. I somehow manage to increase my stamina through exercise and tonnes of cardio but I never had strength, even now. There's also the age factor. I'm turning 29 soon so my metabolism is not as good as it was. Last but not least, it's also an experiment to see how it'll affect my overall health. I lost 22 kilos in roughly a year without any supplements except for protein shakes. So, it's interesting to see how extra supplements such as this is going to help me reach my goals this time.
Why Opti-Women Multivitamin over the rest?
I love doing research and experimenting with products. During my two-week research before deciding on Opti-Women, I read many reviews recommending different types of multivitamins but among most, this vitamin always ranked top 5 and below is why I think most women and I, myself chose Opti-Women over the rest.
1. The ingredient list itself is fascinating enough to be honest.
With over 40 potent ingredients catered for women and the abundant amount of each nutrient provided all in one capsule, it can't get better than this.

To add to that...
2. It only cost RM60 for 60 capsule ( a month's supply).
With everything that this vitamin offers, I think RM2 a day is really cheap, who's complaining?
This also helped me decide...
3. It doesn't cause stomach problems according to reviews
Due the amount of ingredients contained in one serving, I was wary. Wouldn't it be a little too much to consume that much a day? But after reading reviews saying that they didn't experience any side effect or feelings of discomfort, I decided to give it a try and made my purchase.
I took my first 2 pills today. Not 2 at once but one in the morning and one before workout. Not only do I feel more energetic throughout the day, I could push harder during my 30-min HIIT workout today as well. I did not feel nauseated nor did I feel uncomfortable in any way but it's only the first day.
I shall update further once I've finished a bottle. Now, time to sleep. Oyasumi!
