My skin type:
Dry/Combination Oily (T-zone), Uneven skin tone with lots of freckles on cheeks. Also, sensitive around the cheek area.
Just a note:
I generally do not wear make up except for sunscreen. On a daily basis, it's only my skin care and sunscreen, that's all.
How long have I used this:
Just for a week from a sample received upon purchase of another Shu Uemura product.

The smell of this cleansing oil. That's the first thing I noticed when I first pumped it into my hands. Smells like green tea it's so refreshing. Great as a morning cleanser since it will wake you up. This one wins on first impression for sure. As for other things, read on.
Texture wise, it's not as thick as Ultime8 making me love it at first but once emulsified, it gets very drippy and my whole sink was a mess, smothered in white colored liquid all over. Quite a chore to clean after so I was a bit annoyed.
But it's still easy to rinse off from face and after washing I get this SUPER CLEAN feeling! When I run a finger through my T-zone I was in heaven because of the matte feeling it gives that area. My T-zone is always oily so this oil is just what I need.
But then again, it is not hydrating enough for my dry skin area. Well at least, it's not drying my skin at all nor did it make my skin feel tight so it's all good. It will be perfect for those with oily skin though.
Removing make up was really easy with this one compared to Blanc Chroma although it has the same texture. The results after washing is exactly the same as Ultime8 with only eye make up residue left after using cotton pad with toner. But this one gives a much "cleaner" feeling if you would. It just feels super clean.
My skin condition after finishing the sample is a slightly brighter, energized skin. It definitely revived my dull skin.
I will still purchase the smaller sized bottle because it's great for my T-zone although it's not working as great on other parts of my face. My T-zone can sometimes become extra oily than usual and makes me break out. This product can help with that I believe.

Well known, considerably easy-to-find brand.
CONS
Skin must be dry prior to using (I wash my face the first thing, so yeah...)
Once emulsified, it becomes all drippy making it messy.
Pricey. Not over-the-counter brand price.
Works best on my T-zone but comes off as a bit drying for other parts of my face. (Nevertheless, my skin didn't feel tight or dry after, so I still like it)
